Steps of faith in the power of prayer.
I put on my boots and walked around our home in prayer in the early morning hours – 7 laps around our home each morning for 7 days.
Under the moonlight of the first day, it felt too holy to speak. With the powerful rhythmic sound of my boots, my spirit bowed in reverence to the Lord before whom I walked.
The next days I prayed with chills and a heavenly boldness I had never before experienced – not with my words, my spirit, or my power; but with His words through His Spirit to bring about His power.
My prayer was for every dividing wall in our family to be brought down – every wall of division between God and I, between God and my husband, between God and our children, between my husband and me, between us and our children, and between the children.
Every day the Lord revealed to me walls of division I had never before realized were there, and I prayed them down in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the Lord take what is His in our family so we would be surrendered vessels, united in one accord, for the display of His power and light. May there be no hinderances preventing the fullness of His Spirit from being poured down for the glory of His name.
God is so good to allow us to take part in His plans.
