When the spirit starts to feel off in our family – with sadness, bickering, unkindness, and grumbling – there’s a need to reground everyone on God’s Word.
So we take the “Praise Pill.”
Together we praise God by singing a hymn. It restores our spirit and refocuses our minds on Him.
Praise helps to reset the joy, return the love, and right the spirit.
Psalms 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
Psalms 42:11 Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.
Ephesians 5:18-20 be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalms 95:1-3 Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods.
