The nasty enemy can make us feel “less-than” regardless of our testimony…
Either we carry the scars, shame, and regret from the filth of our past that make us feel unworthy, unclean, and damaged…
Or we feel our testimony lacks power because we’ve always walked closely with God.
I’ve had several friends over the years who struggle with feeling their testimony is lacking, and this breaks my heart. I find it so beautiful that the Lord can keep someone from their youth, and pray this for my children!
I wrote this poem for the one who finds themself with these feelings…
——————————–
Don’t doubt My love for you
Don’t doubt your faith
It’s My Presence that’s held you
And My love that’s kept you safe
Your testimony does not lack power
And it does not lack shine
Since your birth, My daughter,
I’ve proclaimed you’re Mine
I’ve whispered My wisdom
And guarded your way
I’ve covered you with My hand
For My power to display
You carry a powerful message
To this world and the unseen
As a Living God I can claim a vessel
And keep it clean
Ignore the enemy’s lies
Who attempts to mar this truth
I’ve walked before you, My daughter
And taught you since youth
As an enclosed garden
Your beauties are divine
The song I sing above you is
“Always and forever Mine”
