How to be cleansed by God?

I feel the answer lies in realizing this truth: The Lord sees all. Nothing is hidden from His sight. All is open and bare before His eyes.

I had the revelation recently that God is not some far-removed figure enthroned in heaven. He is Spirit, in and through all.

There’s no point in attempting to hide the intents of your heart. Instead, release the veil. Sit in His presence and allow His all-seeing eye to try you. Ask His light to pass through your whole being and burn away impurities. Nothing being hidden.

Don’t try to cover or excuse away anything. When areas of darkness are revealed, name it and see yourself turning from it and turning towards God in full repentance.

Let’s not be those who attempt to cleanse the outside, while the inside remains untouched by the full light of God. As we lay our heart open bare, asking Him to sift us, He’s able to wash and make us into His image.

We all will appear and stand before the judgment seat of Christ one day to be tried. Let us start today.
