They run in with heavy feet, face in a tight scowl, to report what their sibling is doing.
I reply with, “Tell them Mama said…”
Their faces relax, eyes light up, and a huge smile of victory spreads across their face as they run outside with determination to report, “MAMA SAID…”
To them, when Mama says something, the battle has already been won. With proud proclamation, they rest in the power of Mama’s words.
May we be the same way with the words of our Father.
May we rest in the sure victory of His words, proudly proclaiming them with determination to opposition.
May we, in firm faith like Jesus, battle with the words, “For it is written…” confident we stand on the solid ground of victory, power, and finality.
