If you’re like me, the word “worship” vaguely brings to mind music and singing, with perhaps hands lifted up.
But from the Greek and Hebrew meaning of the word, it’s actually a position of the body to show respect and submission. It’s a bowing to acknowledge another’s superiority and importance.
The physical prostration of worship can be done in vain if it’s not coupled with spiritual worship of a surrendered, referential heart.
As you worship the Lord, feel your spirit inside of you and equally bow it before the Lord in complete surrender.
God is Spirit and is seeking true worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and truth.
Let’s be true worshippers.
